DUSTIN NGO

Nguyen Phan Huy (a.k.a DUSTIN NGO 春風) is a music producer based in Hanoi (Vietnam). As a student of Hanoi Architectural University, his inspiration is influenced by different kinds of worldwide culture through every lecture. Therefore, his music has a unique and fresh color, hidden inside is his opinions about life and people.

Vu Phuong Thao (a.k.a mess./THDC) is a female music producer living in Hanoi (Vietnam). Born in Son La (Vietnam), a mountainous town, she has been influenced by the typical ethnic music. When learning in Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, she had opportunity to know about music making techniques and find her own style. Her music is not only charming as a lady, but also delicate and delightful.

ANNAM is an experimental music duo, established since 2017 by 2 young music producers - Phuong Thao Vu (aka. THDC/mess.) and Phan Huy Nguyen (aka. Dustin NGO). The duo started in 2017 with the aim to learn and research on Vietnamese traditional musical instruments, and how to blend them with electronic music and came together to create ANNAM. Through sounds, ANNAM aims to deliver new musical experiences with local, indigenous influences, fused with modern electronic music, a blend between the past and the present.
